Ok I realize thats like one end of the spectrum to the other, but I am trying to figure out how people generally make bkgr's for their poser. Is it usually Bryce? Or Photoshop kinda deal? Also I need an AMAZING hair tutorial to get rid of this figures helmet hair! I am fairly new to Poser and this is only my 2nd char. I want to also thank everyone thus far for being so helpful! Thanks so much.

There's a bunch of ways to get a background. Yes, you can use bryce, etc., but importing a background photo is cheaper,... or put the photo on the standard square (just use the photo as a texture) , or use Nerd's backdrop (costs but its cheap and very useful), or use any number of available kits to build the world or set you want. Look into transmapped hairs to get rid of the carved wax look. Most of the better ones cost money, but there are some very nice examples for free. Kozaburo's are very nice... see the 'digital babes' link on the sidebar. He's got a great tutorial on the subject too.

Runtime DNA has an Infinity Cove for free at their site (same thing as Nerd's backdrop prop). I have some background photos on my site that you're welcome to take. Scroll down just below the Bryce freebies and click on the picture of the Oregon coast. MelaniePoisenedLily posted Fri, 01 March 2002 at 9:21 PM
