Lovely shots. I prefer the first but thats just cuz I can't shoot skies and im jealous :) just wondering - since you self develop, what grade do you use on your enlarger? with mine its an average of 3,3,0 in the filter box but i whoop it up to 5,5,0 for more contrasty prints. Using variable contrast paper has helped me out a lot when trying to get results that work nicely. But then again im in GB so if this dont make sense... ignore it ;)

Can't help you with that Cat, sorry =) I haven't tried printing yet, cause I just scan the film and print on nice sort of canvas photo paper with an inkjet printer.

Seems you are getting very nice range of tones, acutance, and grain.

Nice portrait Rork, I must say (despite the grey hairs, lol) You are looking really well! I always have loved your cloud photos and this one is no exception! Lovely shots both of them! :-)>

I love the self portrait work Rork....and you always manage to capture the best cloudscapes. I can't help with the developing issues since I have never done darkroom work. But these are really nice. :~)

I'm happy for your success, Rork. Both images look great. I've never done darkroom work myself, but you're inspiring me to try. Is it expensive to get set up?

Well, I can't comment on the developing, cos I'm digital - but the shots look great, your clouds are always awesome and the "portrait of the artist" is very brooding! :-)

I can't comment on developing either but they look good to me, great self portrait & I love your clouds.

Well, thanks a lot for all the kind feedback =) >What were the scratches from? Exactly, from removing the water :) > had gray hairs that started showing when I was about 17, so don't feel to bad... Oh, lol. Well, I never understood why people would want to dye their hair if it starts turning a bit gray. Who cares....but 17 is really early, lol =) Well, maybe it's got nothing to do with eachother, but funny enough the number of gray hairs is exactly the same as the number of girl friends I've had ;)

LOL! Well, I guess that's one way of keeping track.... ;-)
