Im using Bryce 3D. Im having problems with motion path & the align tool. When used it aligns the object to the path but the object is facing the wrong way. How can I get round this to get it to work correctly. I`ve been through the manual but cannot suss out what to do.

Can't the rotational settings in the object attributes box or the edit pallett tools be used to turn it back around.

I think that Bryce aligns the object's Z-axis along the path. Your object apparently has the Z axis facing the wrong way.
Don't worry. You just need to use a null object. Create a cube and position it so that it's Z-axis is aligned along the path. Link it to the path. Now link your model to the cube. When you move the cube along the path, the model will go along for the ride. (remember to shrink the cube down so that it's hidden inside your model.)

Thanks for the info. Rubycon. Works ok. Although taking further what you said about the Z axis Ive rotate the objects out of Bryce & resave them & when reloaded they work fine with the align tool. Its a poser .obj Ive loaded into Bryce & I know what its like with poser & its axis/scale settings. Thanks again Kingfisher
