HEY, I FOUND THIS PROGRAM ON THE WEB. ITS FROM A BRICK MANUF. FOR ARCHITECTS AND MAKES REALLY GREAT BRICK TEXTURES. AND THE BEST PART IS IT'S FREE :)

Dang...pretty cool! I saved a random brick texture and it popped out at 2688x1344 and it tiles nearly perfectly. Thanks, thanks!

This is so cool. Thanks for sharing the link. I'll bet the good folks at Acme (are companies really named Acme these days? LOL) are gonna wonder why their free download is suddenly so popular. Vile, click on "Preview our new Internet-enabled Masonry Designer software."

P.S. to Vile. Oops. Forgot to tell you to click first on the company logo on the home page, and then click on Preview.

Heh heh. I think we're gonna crash the site. Is it running slowly for anyone else? (Well, I do have a verrrrrry slow connection, too.)

So the guy in charge of the Brick manufacturer's website is probably wondering why the server is getting so many hits! and what the hell is going on!!! This is a laugh, and Eric501 how did you find it??? Are you building your own home?

tmac87 posted Tue, 05 March 2002 at 10:51 PM

This is very cool, thanks for posting it. Acme is local to me, they have a big plant a few miles from where I live.

I work in an architecture firm and found the site in a magazine we get. I was banging my head against the wall trying to make a precise brick texture/color for one of the clients when I saw the ad for this site.

hogwarden posted Wed, 06 March 2002 at 10:46 AM

Very handy... Although it's a shame that the program needs to be connected to the www to work... It's VERY slow. Probably due to all the fervent 3d-heads frantically mussing with trying it out! I am on a modem, so I am one of the unluck ones.

Sadly, we Mac users are left out. Again. Don't cry for me; I'll ...I'll be okay.
