I made some lines in Rhino that I want to import into Photoshop as a path. I tried to do it by exporting the curves to an .ai, but I don't know if Rhino exports to raster or vector (don't have Illustrator to check that). In any case, when I tried to import the .ai exported from Rhino I got a raster image. Is there any way to do what I need to do? Or would anyone at the Rhino forum know?

Still can do. But I dunno if what you have is solid form or a group of forms. If solid and exports clean without backgrnd, select imge on layer and convert to path. if not, select white bckgrnd, delete, select image on layer, convert.

If you had Illustrator you could drag and drop it into Pshop as a path, (or copy and paste as a path) but since you don,t that doesn't help much. If you have Flash then you could check whether it exports as a vector or not. But, all said and done Your best bet is to follow dv8 fx's advice.
