Congrats, Vile, but me thinks you're an old pro, so I must learn from the cadre. As a newbie, I enjoy seeing what can be done (and how I can do it, as I believe these forums are all about learning). So, relish the victory; for as I learn from you, someday, you shall learn from me... (tongue firmly in cheek.) Very, cool pic. But watch your heinie....

You like me you really like me! LOL Thanks everyone who voted for me. I really had some great competition! Ajtooley : I loved that scene in Moonraker! And you really portrayed that well. Aldaron : A very original piece there is more of story here and I always like you stuff. Archlite: Great explosions, reminds me of a Wing Commander. Bambam131: You know how I feel about your creations I really wish the file size was not so large your ships are amazing Loftie: Very cool scene I like the (control panel) very unique mark34: next to Star Wars, Star Trek is some of the best sci-fi, what I really want to know is how did you make the photon torpedoes? MRX3010: These scenes always made me wonder how the Galatica always made it away! Better pilots I guess lol. This portrayed that that seemingly unbeatable odds. Nukeboy: I really dig the textures you did on the models makes them seem like totally different craft. Rayraz: Now this is a battle of epic proportions! A lot of cool stuff going on here. I love the machinegun like shots the best. tk1138: This was another one that I want to know the secrets behind. How did you get the Tie laser bolts to look like that? I will be posting soon about this months contest! Thanks again all!

All I can say is WOW!!! Those images will definitely inspire. I have a question, were all the objects and effects created in Bryce, or were some created in other programs and imported? Thanks for the info and congrats to Vile and the rest - you are all great! Chris

Congrats to Vile.
Aldaron posted Thu, 07 March 2002 at 5:44 PM
Chrisdmd, for mine some of the objects were created in 3DSMax (chairs, nav console, viewscreen), the phser fire and sparks from the explosion were done with AlamDV, and of course the characters are from Poser. Other than that everything else is Bryce.
