I have updated my model of a diver using a Siebe Gorman Salvus oxygen rebreather:- (0) I removed a fault in the CR2 matter of the part *salvusbody* that was making my Poser jam when reading a PZ3 file that contained it. (1) Some scattered faces in various parts of the part *salvusbody* were in the wrong material. I have corrected this. (2) I now include in its zip file two accessories (fin, weight belt) that I did not include before. These two frogmen came to me complaining that because of a bad fault in calculating angles in the IK-chain system, they can't make their breathing set harness straps bend when they bend their bodies. For example, the vertical strap crosses over the chest and the abdomen and the hip. They say that if it ain't put right in Poser 5, they may find a use for the limpet mine that Bert on the right is holding.

For more information about old diving gear, see The Historical Diving Society at this link. The IK fault that I ran into was this. If there a is long tail or chain of parts, if it contains an IK chain, if that IK chain finishes before the end of the IK chain, e.g. it has parts t1 to t16 and the IK-chain's goal is t9, the parts t10 onwards go into completely wrong angles as t9 is moved, if that IK chain is "on".

Anthony, gotta tell you. This stuff really rocks, man. You do such neat stuff within this genre. Now, like, gosh, is it Vicky-compatable??? =)

Anthony, If two frogmen walked/slopped into the CuriousLabs office breathing heavily and making watermarks on the carpet, I'm sure that IK will be eliminated or fixed even as they watched. Carolly

i suppose that it could be fitted to Posette or Vicky or Michael. This Salvus model is not a conforming garment. Each strap and tube is a tail of parts with IK and the curve property. It is made of 3 Poser characters: the mask; the breathing bag plus the long vertical black strap; the rest of the set. The pressure gauge pouch is a prop. The Salvus is a real set and I have dived with one.
