RDS eliminates materials (usemtl ___) You can change it to g before you open the model and convert it back after, either in a TE or with UVM. But straight out of RDS and into Poser, you get one texture = preview. You want a nightmare? use the bottom option on open. RDS converts the usemtl to g for you, a different one for each instance, so a two or more materials alternate, each instance is a different group. It does keep the mapping, but if you mess arround with naming groups very much, it might reverse normals on some of them - very difficult to repair.

There is no vt section? Poser will work fine with no vn section, but I don't know about the vt (I keep forgetting what data the vt section contains.) You have a material = cube So if you open the materials window and apply the stone texture, it should show up, unless vt is needed. Poser provides, but does not use mtlib files as I understand it.

heyas; go through uvmapper between rds and poser, to assign materials. i think. i only have 5.02, not 5.5.

RDS 5.5 is no different in this. You still need to go through UVM.
