Does anyone know why, when I import a pz3 file into vue, parts are missing? I was just trying to get GeorgeD dinosaur into vue, he loaded, but his head was missing! lol Thanks, Sallie

Could be any number of reasons: a corrupted PZ3, Vue read it wrong for some reason, a MAT file (if there is one), unusual object groupings. I've had it happen before, but not since patching to (I think) Vue 4.03. Even before patching, usually closing Vue and trying again would work, after making sure, with Poser that there wasn't something wrong with the PZ3 file, and saving it again. I'll have a look at it and see what happens.

Looks OK here, but if it keps happening, I'd recommend you update your Vue to at least 4.03, if you haven't yet done so.

Thanks :) I had already updated to 4.03, I see now they have 4.05, maybe that will help! Sallie

There have been others who have said otherwise, but on my system, Win 98 SE, I think that 4.05-02 (the most recent) is the best version so far. Still a few minor problems, but I haven't had any trouble at all with Poser imports, and I haven't had a single crash since updating. :)

My company bought a copy of Vue 4.01. How can I import Pz3?, there is only New and Open in the manual. I have to get the upgrade from Vue?

You can import objects from the Object menu at the top. You have two choices for importing either Object> Load Object, or Object>Import Object. Importing is the way to go with meshes and PZ3 files. When you select Object>Load Object, it opens the Object Browser, where you keep your Vue .VOB (Vue Object) files.
