Pretty darn cool.

Hey inyerface Bryce 4 users don't have metaballs, so they get to boolean.
derjimi posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 3:12 AM
Ok, then were are the boolean? :)
Vile posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 3:14 AM
If you consider the cave a character I'll buy it. But it does have to be a character either metaball or boolean. And then posted in the challenge thread. I like this scene though.

Not being real up on the terminology, I was just guessing that the intersection of the two terrains (using one to carve out the other) was a boolean operation. That's why I wasn't sure if it qualifies for the challenge. s If not, no biggie. I had fun.

U dont have to use any bolean a terrain isnt solid by defult.

Hey this leaves us with Bryce4 and below out of the challenge! :-( Will booleans really be counted. Secondly can we get to use terrain lattices?
Aldaron posted Sat, 09 March 2002 at 11:42 AM
If the skeletons were created by booleans then this would qualify for Vile's challange. People who have Bryce 5 have to use metaballs to create their character and those with Bryce 4 and below must use booleans to create a character (not just using booleans in a scene). Hope that makes it clearer.

One's for sure: the bird doesn't have to start the day hungry. ;)

I like both Stephen Ray! Boy you made it tough to pick which are made from metaballs...I'll go both!
Sihn posted Sun, 10 March 2002 at 7:41 PM
ugh! that worm is too real for me - bleh! Good job Stephen Ray. I know terrains are hollow by default, but I've found that by using either a rock or another terrain, I have better control over carving out caves. It also allows me to apply different materials for a cave interior.
