Some time ago, an excellent image (Not Big Enough, by Kiddego) was selected as part of the Top 20. That image was a modification of a drawing by a famous artist named Thomas Blackshear II. It is amazing to believe that this work was done in Bryce... The original drawing of Mr. Blackshear II can be seen at: http://www.christcenteredmall.com/stores/art/blackshear/coat-of-many-colors.htm I think that when we use inspiration in another artist work (and in this case, an image)the adequate merit need to be mention to the original artist.

It's always good kharma to mention the original artist when you are paying tribute with an "homage". The pose and hand gestures in this are different enough from the original to prove that it not simply a copy or modification, but rather a Poser figure rendered in Bryce. It's a gorgeous image either way, but it's always nice to see where the inspiration came from.
