Forgot the dang picture. ;) My entry for the February challenge. The sword was modeled in Animation Master. I exported from A:M as .3ds and it didn't maintain the grouping (really ticked me off), but it gave me a good oppourtunity to try out Lithunwrap which made quick work of breaking it up. There is a larger version in my gallery. Hope you like it. Rich

I see the competition for these monthly challenges is going to be intense! :-) This is very good. Great lighting effect. And I think the dead tress in the background really set it all off quite nicely. jon

jstro: In answer to you're question in the other thread, there are 4 lights in this scene. One quadratic and one regular spotlight shining down from above with 6 spheres inside the light cone. Shadows on the quadratic are set to 250 percent, shadows on the regular spot are turned off since it is only to boost the illumination a bit. One spotlight on the forground vegetation to bring out some detail and one spotlight on the trees for effect. Glad you like it. Thanks! :) Rich

Very cool Rich. That lighting is killer...makes the trees look almost surreal.
