Does anyone have any idea how to effectively remove/restore replaced body parts? I have been fighting with a .cr2 all day. I have removed the "geomCustom" section and restored the "channels" section for the parts in question. The restored parts are not appearing in Poser. I suspect it has something to do with materials assignment. Can I re-assign a material without remapping the .obj?

I think Kevin Rose may know how to do that. Post this message to the Technical forum.

That's something I could add to Morph Manager so you could click and remove a replaced part. Did you try checking the actor declaration section at the top of the file and make sure the replaced part has a correct entry?

That would be a great addition to MM! -JH.

That would be a spectacular addition! At the top of the .cr2 or at the top of the section for the replaced part? Both the geometry references are correct, if that's what you mean. Mason, while you are thinking about adding features to hack the .cr2, would it be hypothetically possible to automate your figure intgration process? As much as I love learning about the .cr2 through hand-editing, it IS a real headache at times. Just curious. If it is possible, I would think many people would be interested.... Cage the instigator

Those are the first two things I tried. I'm slow to learn, but a couple of months at the Forum teaches one well. A hearty "THANK YOU!" to everyone out there who is sharing their ideas and progress, helping those who need it, and donating their files to the community. I hope I can give back some small part of what I have received, eventually....
