I read the recent thread from Holyforest concerning naming conventions of products sold here are Renderosity. Quite frankly, I am not surprised by the messages posted. Once again, division from within prevails. Can't we all just get along around here? So much has been going to hell in a handbasket that this site is losing it's appeal. I removed my stuff here for other reasons, which coincide with Holyforest's remarks. Yes, there ARE plenty of other sites in which to post images and sell stuff relative to Poser, but why do we have to resort to moving and leaving in a huff? Because there are so many cliques around here, if you don't "fit in", you are screwed. I feel sorry for Holyforest, in respect to his ORIGINAL complaint in that his name was being used by someone else. I feel it low of the other party to bring in personal issues, which then alienates the authority figures here to side with them. In retaliation, Holyforest then brings his personal issues and then BANG, everything explodes, the gloves come off. I guess we are witnessing what they truly are. Greed has reared it's ugly head. Instead of compromise, we get war. So dictates our society, and so dictates this community. Goodbye Holyforest, where ever you are.... Argus1971

"Can't we all just get along around here?" That's a great sentiment. It goes along very well with some of your other statements, such as, "I applaud Mr. Legume for becoming the poster child for idiots!, as well as, "you have successfully turned many people against each other because of your narrow minded ignorance who wouldn't know art if it came up and bit you on the arse!" Maybe you should consider examining YOUR OWN contribution to the atmosphere around here before complaining about it. As for people getting all angry and dramatically storming out in a huff, well, one picture is worth a thousand words.

The thing about this "leaving Renderosity" thing that always strikes me is that there are some of us here who have such GOOD reason perhaps to jump ship and leave Renderosity, but we just sort of roll with our punches, take it into stride, never even complain to the admins (and at least in my case feel offended by admin intervention on my behalf since I am a very big tough old gal)... and never leave. And the punches keep coming, and they are almost all below the belt. But onward we persevere. Now if these folks can march headlong into each storm that comes it's way without flinching, let alone leaving, why cannot others?

It seems that the two folks above here haven't got the message. This thread was supposed to be added to the lot for Holyforest's thread, but it was locked (I wonder why). Soooo, I took things a step further. You know, to egg on the rants, kind like the way Legume posts sick twisted art and allows folks to get upset and post negative remarks towards him. Guess that's why he's the AOM. Of course, by the way he has so graciously replied to my thread, with once again, more narrow-minded, sophmoric banter, he should also get the Ass Of the Month! You see, no matter what is said around, here you can't get kicked out. I figure the admins are laughing their asses off right ow reading this stuff. It probably gives them something to do throughout the day. Since Legume was once an admin (which I understand now), he has "friends in high places" to allow him to run rampant throughout the site. If you have so much pull around here, why not kick me out? I welcome it. It would be the icing on the cake and it would show your true colors once again. How does it feel to be worshiped by children?

Thanks for contributing to everyone getting along. I'd argue my point with you, but you're doing a MUCH better job of arguing my point yourself.

Argus, with all due respect, you haven't a clue what you are talking about.

I care not that argus1971 should impugn leguem's parentage. What I do find troublsome is his capitaliaztion of the word 'MY'... as if to accentuate his owenership over a certain thread. Do you not know that no man may 'OWN' a thread. Thread...Yes. A thread? No. Once YOU post, the thread belongs to the masses, and indeed, the ages.

Hey Mehndi, I think respect has gone out the window here. Legume has tried to cut me down over a comment I made over one of his pics a while ago. While there were others and have been others commenting negatively to his work, he found it in his heart to single me out of the crowd and send a very nasty e-mail to me personally. No IM, an e-mail. If it was his intent to piss me off beyond belief, then he was successful. My argument was the fact that yes, I do respect peoples views and opinions over images posted here. I did at one time have artwork posted here for comment, but I received none. I realize not long after, that most people. not all wanted more T&A. There are zillions of T&A sites on the net, so why do they have this need to see "virtual sex" here at renderosity? I know there is a fine line between art and porn, but come on folks, things have gotten outta hand. Back to Legume: after his e-mail (which I will never forget), he later became AOM. Now I to know that AOM is based on people's votes, but I looked at the competition, and I see that there really wasn't any because everyone was voting for just about every Legume pic! I don't know if it was retaliation towards other artists or what, but that too has gotten outta hand. As for my original post in this thread, it had nothing to do with Legume until he felt it necessary to post a pic (childish at best) and then continue to badger me. Legume if you read this, I have now found your posts funny, nothing more. You keep posting, I keep laughing. BTW, Mehndi, it is you who hasn't got a clue. Stay outta this one.
