I read somewhere that if you change the figureResFile line in the .cr2 file of the person you want the clothing item to conform to to the new clothing's .obj file that it will conform well. But obviously that can't be all. Can you change the joint parameters on the clothing and still have it conform? Obviously you would have to delete all the body part definitions that do not apply to the clothing. What else is involved in this process? Is there another/better/easier way?

no thats it in the basic sense.....scroll to the bottom and delete the materials too so it picks up your new ones in the mesh......oh oh sorry i just noticed you said person..no no that won't work you must use a piece of clothing similar to yours.......Steve

so you mean that I shouldn't change the joint parameters in poser, or does that even matter?

Anything is conformable to anything. It is the parameters that make it fit right though. The joint parameters can be tweaks but should be similar. The joint parameters determine if the clothes will match up with the figure so they should be almost the same if not identical. Anton
