Greetings. Id like to know if there is a plugin around capable of immitating that old and lovelly amiga function of Symettry painting, where you would command the main pointer and see your strokes repeated as many times as you seted eighter in a cycle or in a mirror like pattern. Any clue?

I personally wouldn't know a filter which does it, though Im sure one of the guys working on the KPT series, or maybe Flaming Pear might have something that fits the bill. On another note, me thinks you could sort of achive what you wanted the long way by doing it once, and then tiling it around itself. A filter or plug in would be easier though, and prolly produce more exact results. I'll make sure that bum Alpha gets his arse on it right away. After all, I owe him on, or two favours.

The Terrazzo filter won't let you paint in symmetry but will allows you to create kaleidoscope-like designs using a portion of your image. It takes a single tile of your image cropped into shape and repeats, reflects, or flips it a number of times in interlocking symmetrical patterns over the surface of your image. Each Symmetry option gives a different tile shape and tiling pattern. You can then apply it to the image you used to make it or to another image.

Actually i'm using this filter with Corel Photo-Paint (came with it) but there is a plugin for Photoshop.

You want this to happen in real-time as you're painting? If so, I don't think you'll get the effect from a Photoshop plug-in. I can only suggest you have a look at some stand-alone Texture Tiling software. Or look for an old PC version of Dpaint.

Well, if it is not to take to a way too tech level, is it possible to achieve realtime feedback from adobes Plugin-SDK? Cause if so it would be only matter of studying it a little more and implementig the algorithms, wich I do already have... any clue?
