Sorry, what is the diff. between the 4 packs? I understand the stand-alone and the tex. pack.So I guess I wonder what the diff. is between the add-on ver and the other: Carmen Character for Dina V? Do I need to buy the add-on and the carmen char and the carmen tex. to get the full packedge? Thanks Deberus

Deberus, Glad you asked. It probably is a bit confusing. :-) The add-on pack is exactly the same as the stand-alone, but it has pcf files that need Dina's obj to be converted before use. That way, we can offer a price break to people who already bought Dina. Kind of like the Vicki 2 or Michael 2 upgrades. The Carmen character for Dina is the same texture as is available separately, but the character morphs are specific to Dina. She has the same face morph as the Vina version, but the body morphs are slightly different because Dina has a different body shape to begin with. This package is intended primarily for people who just want to add a different look to the Dina model that they already own. If you want to have Vina, as well as the character morphs specifically for Dina, plus the texture, buy the Vina D add-on and the Carmen character for Dina. That's assuming you already have Dina. Hope that helps. Diane

Dave, Vina will be here as soon as I can get her repackaged for rosity and they can get her tested. BTW, you can place an order with us and pay by check. We'll send you download info as soon as we get your check. Diane

Hi Diane,
I just purchased and downloaded VinaD and I'm trying to decode the Dina obj file, and keep receiving a "wrong seed file" error message. I'm using Mover 1.01, and put dsiDina.obj as the seed file; then I choose dsiVinaDHi.pcf as the difference file. After I do that, the name dsiDina.obj appears in the "Original Seed File" block at the top, but it has a funny symbol in front of it. Then, when I press the Convert button, I get the WRong Seed File message.
Any idea what's happening?

thanks for that D, but being in Australia a cheque takes a little while :) plus the conversion rates :( I will wait for Rosity and use my store credit. Thanks anyway.

dmtyler, If you haven't already sent me an email, please send me one and I will correct this for you. I think I my have figured out why some people are having a problem converting the pcf file (I have remade these darn things about 10 times and they work for me and my tester). As near as I can figure, it is a Pro Pack issue and may have to do with how you installed Pro Pack. There was a notice from Curious Labs regarding some issues with PP being installed over 4.03. Their recommendation is to uninstall 4.03, reinstall Poser from your original CD and THEN install Pro Pack. Apparently it causes some other issues that may or may not have been noticeable to people who installed over 4.03, but it appears to really cause problems with Mover and these high res files. Dave, Understandable. I wanted to try to figure out this pcf problem before I sent the files to Rosity. I will get them sent this weekend and as soon as they get them tested, she will be up.

Dave, We are in the process of moving renderotica and the GRC to a new server. Renderotica is up on the new server and we are working out the bugs that always crop up in a move. Once we get rotica working completely smoothly, we'll get the GRC back up. One thing we've already noticed is that Renderotica is WAY faster on this server!
