If anyone is looking for this still, I know that J&R Music World in New York has plenty of copies... I got mine yesterday....

Cool deal Paul. No J&R Music World here though. Which version of Cinema 4D is this? Does it do radiosity rendering?

Honestly speaking, I don't know if it has radiosity, but I think it' something that this program has had from the get go, cause I remember people raving about it's rendering capabilities from earlier versions... Well, another thought is, if you can't find it out there, you can call them up and order it... http://www.jandr.com/ They have an 800 number on that page...

Yes it has radiosity, in Version 7 and up, this is one of its greatest and most impressive points. A great app. One of the best!

It's version 5 SE, and it's also available with the new issue of PC Plus magazine. Unlike the PCFormat freebie, you don't have to live in the UK or Ireland to register this one, and you can order this single issue on their website. I'm not sure exacting what features this version has, though.x2000 posted Thu, 21 March 2002 at 5:56 PM

Well, I did dig this up after a few minutes of searching. If I find better info somewhere, I'll post a link.x2000 posted Thu, 21 March 2002 at 6:29 PM

I haven't had much luck finding any better info, but I did start a thread in the C&D forum to try and find out more, so keep an eye on that one, and if you can provide any info, please do:)DeZ posted Sat, 23 March 2002 at 6:03 PM
Anyone outside the UK that has purchased the March issue been able to register there copy of Cinema4D? I bought the magazine today only to find out that it was only for residents inside the UK and Ireland......and this really sucks as I live in Sweden!!!
