Everytime I try to make a morph target for any poser figure in RDS the mesh gets all crumpled up. Is there a particular way you have to import/export the .obj file?

See the Carrara Tutorials section, this one by bloodsong is good: http://www.3dmenagerie.com/goodies/tut/tack1.htm

I tried that one, but it still doesn't work. I think its because I have the old version of the .obj importer. Does anyone know where I could possibly find the newer one? It's not like I can get them from Metacreations anymore. They could have at least left the plugins up SOMEWHERE. I also can't find the .pz3 importer, but that is not as important.

The program updaters are at Raydreamstew site but I don't have the URL handy. I'll find it later on tonight if you still need it.

No, there is no button like that. And also to willf, Raydreamstew is where I got my .obj plugin. It is the old version. It does not have the Create Meshform Objects section that is the essential element for this to work. But thanks for the offer. I don't suppose anyone happens to have the newer version of the plug-in?

You may want to post this question in the poser forum as well. -Kix

There are more updaters at the Raydream Group, Yahoo, but you need to join first to download them (probably worthwhile). The file site is here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Raydream/files/ They have most all of the MAC & PC files/fixes/importers for Raydream3D, RDS V5-5.5.
