Oh, I just noticed. Are you saying you are entering this in this month's challenge? Looks rather mystical to me!

Thanks Mike :-) I've used Vue 2 a lot, at least until the WinME on my dual boot became to unsatble! I'm reworking it now, and will enter it in the challange if I can get it right :)

That's wonderfull! What could be more mystical? But I don't believe you that you are a new to Vue - or you are talent by nature like the old Dutch painters. What will your pistures look like after one year of vueing around!!!!!!!!!! ;-) Bernie

You're welcome, Alla. :) Just remember that when you are ready, to post it in a new thread saying that it's a challenge entry, so it doesn't get missed. If you put it in the gallery, just include a link in the thread.

*blush* thanks :) Bernieloehn, if you take a look at my gallery at the attached link there are a few images I did there with my free copy of Vue 2, namely, the 1st, 7th and 10th in the thumbnails, please excuse the site it's still a WIP *g* The characters are what I had already saved as I was trying to do this image in Bryce, but couldn't get the trees to look right. I'm working on getting the bark right at the moment, I want moss growing on one side of the trunks as it does in real trees but can't get it looking right somehow:( Thanks Mike I'll remember:)bernieloehn posted Thu, 14 March 2002 at 5:17 PM

Wow, Alla, your gallery is indeed very impressive! Possibly I can help you with the moss ... When you mix materials - the bark and the texture for moss - please try the function I included in the attached link to Alla.zip. I think the function is in the Spots directory and part of the normal Vue release but I cannot remember. The gif please change to bmp format. It's a photo of a wall of a path through the forest next to my flat. I took it with my little camera. This piccy is really - now it smells like parfum LOL! - a treasure ofgold because I use and you can as everybody who wants to do, use it for really many texturing items: mossy forest floors, barks, etc. even in combination with liquids or as function for metals etc. etc. Okay - keep on vueing! ;-) Yours, BernieKeep cool and fight for the right of others

Thankyou :) and thankyou for the moss, I can't get the link to work though. Isn't it a shame the other forums arn't this helpful and friendly - though I can remember when they were!

Oh, Alla, I am very sorry - I forget to put the ".de" extension into the address! Now the link should work. Sorry but I am ill at home at the moment having a "Mandelentzuendung" (only know the German word). ;-) BernieKeep cool and fight for the right of others
