put this in the 2d gallery as well,but i wanted to show what the tutorial in tips did.i can see problems with it now,caused by my laptop screen. oh well thanks spike and deadguy

i found the image on the net long time ago,so i cant refer to it in any way other than it belongs to Pat Thielen,the guy with the copyright on the image.

Good job - you really brought a lot of vibrance back to it, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what the original print looked like.

yep just go to the top of this page and click on resource centre,there is only the one tutorial at the moment,but also have a look at the tips and tricks.

very good, but just one thing - thanks to the pumped up contrast the details of the hair strands to the left of the face are gone. they can be preserved by going over with a soft-brush history brush set to multiply or 60-70% transparency
