i mean those characters we use in poser are really really great but does someone knows who they were inspired by?
i know that the dina character is based on a real person but is it the same for michael, victoria,the posette and stephanie or natalia and natrixa?
i have to say that we always try to make "our" characters but i want to salute the person that are "under" these characters

Well I heard that Michael is a model of the owner of DAZ and Victoria is a replica of his wife. But I am not sure, you can go to DAZ's site to read up on it, they have info there. Sharen

Mike's face is Dan Farr's, President of DAZ, but they hired a model for the body scanning. There are pictures of the process at the link above.

LOL...Well, it really was a trip standing next to Dan at Siggraph last year and trying not to stare cause he is so much like the Michael model...or rather the reverse...hehe. And the rest of the model was based on another male model they hired for that purpose. But ...no, it's not his wife...they hired a model for Victoria. I don't know anyone's wife that wants that kind of "exposure"...lol. Cris

I think Vicki was just a live model, but I can't be sure of that. Some people thought she was Dan's wife, but I think I remember Dan saying in a thread a few months ago that Vicki is not his wife. Again, I can't be sure of that. Melanie

Some years ago the Victoria model's pictures were being passed around. I think she might have been a Playmate. If you look for some OLD threads you may find them. Another thought...have you tried looking at the Curious Labs site for her pictures? They may be there. Pinto
