Is anyone using Amorphium Pro with Bryce , or in general? What are people using it for? Thanks, Chris

I use Amorphium Pro, before I got Electric Image Universe I did all my modeling in Pro. I still use it for creating things like cave ( using Wax ) deforming models, making morph targets for Poser and Universe, and many organic type models. It's Biospheres ( metaballs ) are outstanding when compared to other apps. Synthetic type models can be made in it, but it's strong point is organic modeling. Once you get fluent with Pro you can make things in minutes which take hours in other programs using nurbs. I use the obj format when creating things to be used in Bryce, although it's a bigger file size than 3DS, it requires less smoothing in Bryce. Amorphium is a polygon modeler and it uses a lot of them. For me it's a great app to have, very unique, I suggest everyone to add it to their 3D arsenal. And you can't beat the price.

I use AM to morph figures from Poser, for making organic shapes like mushrooms and branches and adding twists/bends to other 3DS objects I import into the program and then export as OBJs for Bryce....I don't use it often or well enough but if I need a weird looking model I can do it in AM !
