this may be a question already asked...but in all the tutorials out there to import poser to bryce, it's never poser 3 to bryce 5...since I am new to this, I need detailed instructions. I was wondering if anyone could lend a helping hand....

Well, all I know,is that you must export an object or character, you must export as Wavefront object, then import the object into Bryce. :-)

when youve posed in poser go to file menu- export. OBJ is the best but you can use 3DS. save the file ,close poser. open bryce file menu - import and navigate to the folder you just saved in easy peasy.

Thank you, when I get the object into bryce, they lose all the color. They are just bryce gray. I don't know how to get them to be the regular color again.

I'm not sure, but I don't think that Poser 3 is able to export the material settings for figures. They import as gray in Bryce and you have to apply the textures manually. I've posted a link above to the tutorial at Peter Sharpe's site on importing Poser 3 textures. -darlisaJustinBm posted Sat, 23 March 2002 at 11:07 PM
Thank you for your help. I finally got the guy in there the correct way, but when I go to apply the texture, it doesn't fit right for some reason. I tried many things, I must just have to play with it for a while.
