Subject: Suggestion... Dragon Comparisons?

Valandar opened this issue on Mar 23, 2002 · 95 posts

Valandar posted Sat, 23 March 2002 at 5:14 PM

Here's a suggestion... why not do plain, white, untextured renders of the various dragons available out there, all at the same display size and a 3/4 view from, say, the dragon's top right? That way people could compare directly. I'd reccomend about 600x500, and a roughly relaxed standing position, with a focal length of 110-120. You could also post a link where the particular dragon is available. By this, I mean the basic dragons, of course... the DAZ Dragon, Anton's Storybook dragon, the Ultimate Dragon, and so on. I'll post such images here, later, of my own Dracos Titanicus and Land Dragon. Anyone with any of the other dragons is hereby invited to do so, so all the dragon fans can get their fix, and tell which one best suits what they want!

Once again, all white. However, I don't have any other dragons (except Anton's free one...) Actually, I don't have that free dragon anymore... my Poser HD wiped yesterday. Can anyone continue this thread?

This is a non-posable free prop version of Konan's Ultimate Dragon. I don't have the posable figure but it looks like it has some cool features, especially since it was made way back in 99.
