As I downloaded Stephanie prior to the March 10 update, I am eligible to receive the new update/fix from DAZ. I filled out the form, gave my e-mail address, order number...etc. I did this on March 20 and have yet to hear anything back from them. Is this happening to everyone else too?

Marque, This is what I get when I click on the update: Stephanie Update Any one who purchased the Stephanie product prior to March 11, 2002, will need to acquire the update which corrects the EyeSize Morph and makes Minor Adjustments to Skin Material. To obtain this update please contact us at tech@daz3d.com and provide the following information: Full name Current, valid email address you wish to be contacted with Date you purchased the Stephanie Invoice order # for your purchase Desired Platform (Windows/Macintosh) NOTE: Without the invoice number or date of purchase, we will not be able to verify your ownership (please provide at least one of the two). Also, if you do not provide your full name and a valid email address, we will not be able to send you the update. I sent them all of this information and have yet to receive a reply.

I recieved my update on thursday afternoon after I sent them the request the same day in the morning. Maybe it's because of the weekend that they are a bit late? @ Marque - you can't get the update from their site, you have to email them a request with your order number.

I needed to send a second mail but that 2nd mail got replied to in about an hour, with the update info.

I received my updates on the same day I requested them. As Puntomaus said, maybe because of the weekend?

Got my update within a couple hours of my request. Maybe they got flooded all of a sudden when the update became public knowledge. I didn't know about it until someone mentioned it here.

I got mine a day after I sent in the e-mail. They do not work on weekends, but on Monday you should send another e-mail and hopefully that will help. Sometimes e-mails get lost so it's possible they didn't receive yours. Or they are just too busy. I hope you'll receive your update soon! :)
Strangechilde posted Sat, 23 March 2002 at 8:24 PM
I got mine within a few hours of sending the e-mail, which surprised me as I sent it in the afternoon from the UK. Johnnydnh, if you've not received yours within two business days (Daz is slower on weekends; their staff, oddly, likes time off, it seems) it would probably be worthwhile mailing them again. Something may have gotten lost. My Steph voucher mysteriously vanished, but Daz replaced it at the mere mention of an invoice number. Hope you get sorted quickly!

How long do you have from the time you get the response till you download it? Just wondering. If it comes in the morning, while I'm at work, and I don't get home until that evening, so you have 24 hours or something to download the file? Dumb blonde question. Melanie
Sue88 posted Sat, 23 March 2002 at 9:43 PM
When I received the e-mail with the download information it said that I had 3 days to download the update. So you'll have plenty of time. :)

Well, I am just back from the Game Developer's Conference (19th-23rd)... and dead exhausted, too, after talking for 3 days. 4 folks from DAZ (AnneMarie, Rachel, Peter, and Dan) were out here in California, manning a booth, passing out calendars, answering questions, running demos, and generally trying to raise their visibility in this industry. I'm sure that Monday morning they will all be back in their office, ready to tackle the flood of email requests with their usual good humor and efficiency. Just be patient. Carolly

Sorry, you are right, I got some coffee and looked at the link again. Now where is that automatic butt kicking machine I keep around the den for when I don't follow through and look more carefully. Too bad there isn't an alternate solution...like a place where you can plug in a code and get it. Like an auto email response that gives a download site for the update according to your email code and your receipt code with a limited time download like the regular product, 5 minutes or so. Sorry...rambling again...too bad I can't get caffiene I.V., with a line running straight to the pot in the kitchen...would save on sugar...and energy to walk in there to get it...hummmmm Marque

This morning I received my download info from DAZ and then received a second one in the afternoon. So I am happy again. Maybe it did have something to do with that conference that they were at.
