"...I just finished this but I wondering which gallery should I put it in?... Poser or Bryce?... and yes I know this is horrible but I have been out of this a long time... By the way my legal initals are JSG and the initials for the name I go by are LKA... to avoid any confusion or accusations of really stupid plaigerism cause the initals JSG are on the thing... but what you people think?... answer's are appreciated." obviously the skels are from poser but the render is bryce and there doesnt seem to be any postwork so the bryce gallery i guess

Mixed Medium is actually the correct gallery, although some people who use both Poser and Bryce either decide by which programme the image was rendered in.

"Mixed medium it is then... Thanks. It's weird... looked through their several times but never noticed mixed medium... Thanks." LKA

my 2 cents; Whatever you did the actual render in is what it should be posted under. "mixed medium" is when there is heavy photoshop post-work, like drawing in foliage, grass, trees, whatever; but that's just what I myself go by. But, it all comes down to what you feel is right.

I normally go into what the majority of the work is in . If there is a person in an an open sky it would be poser even if rendered in Bryce. However if it was a more complex scene with a lot of bryce things and a real scene built around the figure then I would pop it in bryce. though some would say both shoud go into mixed medium. personally I just use that for heavy photoshop stuff etc.

yeah, but...on the other hand, if you take a Poser figure into Bryce...render it in Bryce and post it in the Poser gallery...you're gonna get some pissed off people, since Bryce has a better rendering engine and capabilities. Extreme examples are members who render Poser figures in say, 3dsm, maya, or lightwave...and then post it in the Poser gallery, how fair is that to members rendering with just Poser? ...just a thought.

Got into some bickering about which renders poser figures better, Poser or Bryce. I consider Bryce superior but do not consider that the criteria for the gallery. I believe it should be the intent of what the artist is presenting... a beautifully rendered scene could have .objs, .lwos, etc. Where would it end? If you are promoting the scene, then the final program should win out. If your intent is to say, "Hey, look at this cool Poser figure." Then the gallery should be Poser. Etc. $.02

Agree with Nukeboy. If the majority of the work is Poser, then put it in the Poser gallery. The guide to getting good renders with Poser is: don't try.
