Hey folks, I posted this earlier last night, but need to get it in during the day so folks will see it. I have found a SUPERB morph creator designed specifically for Poser, and IT IS FREE! I played around with it some, and it is EXTREMELY easy to use. The 'manual' that comes with it is designed specifically for morons too, which really helps me out. Some folks here may already know about it, but it's Codetwister's MorphMaster (link attached) Ben MessianicArt.com

But this moron here was not able to move a single point with it. Seravajan

Here, try this. Trust me, If I could do it, you could! First, import your obj. Second, make it visible in your camera. Third, go to "stack" in the top bar, and click "modify geometries to create a morph target" Then, go to "selections" tab, and click the icon on the far right, the soft selection button. Next, get in close, so you can see the pink dots. Click directly on a pink dot. A group of pink dots should turn purple. You can change the size of your "impact" by adjusting the "fallot" option, under the stack. Then, go to transformers, and click on either scale, or translate. In scaling, you should not simply use the up and down icons. You need to make a bigger impact, so edit the x,y, or z values directly by changing the numbers. I prefer to deal with the "tenth" value, the one after the decimal. In translating, you can simply use the icon. Try this, and I bet it will work.

WOW! Ashes on my head! 8) I'm really a moron! ;) Thank you very much! This really helped! :) Phew this program saved me a bunch of money! Now I can consider my 3D program and 3D stuff collection complete. :) BTW is this mentioned in the help file too? Seravajan

Oh yeah! I too experienced this. Ok, under selections, click the deselect all button. Then re-select your points. ben

You have to make sure that your camera and your model are at the same place.

Is this Win OS only or is there a Mac version?

BTW, Code Twister is also selling the Tailor in the MarketPlace. I haven't bought it yet, but it seems to be rocking everyone's world, once they get it up and running.

I can find the help file that shows you how to make a horn on a cat's head, but it refers to tutorials on how to do more complex morphs. I can't find them....

Seravajan posted Mon, 25 March 2002 at 2:29 AM

@TalmidBen: I have to export the morph by right clicking on the new created morph in the object window. This step seems to be missing in the basic tutorial. @cyber-organic: You can find them on Codetwisters website. They are separate downloads. Seravajan

Looks like its just for wintel Don, that's what has been keeping me from buying the tailor program, I've got a fairly quick PC I could run it on, but it's just not my favorite platform.

I don't find a Morph Creator. I did find MorphMaster, and Tailor of course.
