... reading the threads here in the Poser Forum? It's because nobody EVER gets interrupted! Just thought you'd like to know that! ;=] It is quite relaxing to read what others think about any given situation when they're NOT interrupted. It is like listening to a much more civilized sort of conversation than one usually experiences in real life. Having said that ... (and without having being interrupted - thank you very much!), I'll go back to reading some of the fascinating and informative threads here. Thanks for listening, or should I say, reading. Oh - BTW - No need to reply to this post - unless, of course, you do so in a civilized manner. ;=] cheers, dr geep ;=]

My dear Geep, I have striven all my adult life to cultivate an ability not to interrupt, for I know (o, I know) how difficult it can be to express one's point, and how many qualifications and iterations one may require. I am so pleased to find such a thing appreciated. Oh yeah, BTW, I like it too. :)

Interestingly, studies have shown that more than 80% of productivity is lost through interruption. And that is an average.

Wow. How much productivity do we have left after being interrupted and interrupting others, surfing the Internet and playing Tetris, I wonder?

That's what the word asymptotic was invented for =) For the folks who were asleep in math class -- vanishingly small. BTW - If you were asleep in math class, it wasn't you -- it was your horribly bad teacher. I've been luck enough to have had excellent teachers.

Why, thank you. I have actually used 'vanishingly small' in writing. I now have a much cooler word! (I've actually forgotten math class. All of it.)

heyas; geep, you non-conformist! don't you know how interruptive that is to be scrolling past a long thread, and suddenly see the subject change, and you have to interrupt your scrolling, because you think it's a new thread, but it isn't, it's just geep changing the subject? on every message you do that! argh!!! :) uh... what were we talking about?
