Ok the way you explained things to me really help out, and got me many steps in one day then all the times i tried to figure out poser totally. But now im having little trouble with the BUM thingy. I got the bumps to work fine but now i want the bumps to be a color and not just the bump outline. How do i go about give it, its own color?

The bump map only creates an embossed surface effect (bumps). If you want the bumps to have colors, you'll have to paint the colors on a texture map.

BUM files simply give bumps. They raise portions up. geep had a good explanation of what a BUM map does. To create colors, you need to create a texture map. I hope this answers your question. http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=636202
