Well, actually...no, sorry. False advertising. ;) I'm hoping that with a subject line like that, maybe it will capture Lynn Fredrick's or Steve Bell's attention. So, if either of you see this, how about at least a hint? C'mon guys! Just a hint!

...think of all those poor little children, who after hours of searching are just sitting in the dirt, empty-handed, tears running down there little faces... :( Now if that doesn't move them to at least give us a clue, nothing will!

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

LOL! Okay then, here's the first official hint:

Just how much do you love Vue?<<<

Don't expect anything fantastic, will you...

Steve.

Ahah! It is a secret scaling tool. If you type in "I love Vue thiiiiiis much" It will scale things thiiiiiis much. ;)

Did I miss something? ;)

Great Easter Egg, Myske, but that's too much chocolate! LOL! Okay, I opened Vue 4 and typed "I love Vue!" and I got a cactus plant - ROFL! Shift+V is the shortcut for creating vegetation. ;)

LOL! Alright...got it. Thanks Steve! LOL!

found it ! LOL ! who did this ?!?!!! are there other little surprises ?

gebe posted Fri, 29 March 2002 at 5:22 PM

I wrote "I love Vue" and got a coconut tree. LOL. How did you do that Mike, to see the message ?

gebe posted Fri, 29 March 2002 at 5:29 PM

OK Mike, I also found it:-)

MikeJ posted Fri, 29 March 2002 at 5:42 PM

LOL! Yeah, if you use capital letters, you have to use the shift key, and like Varian pointed out, shift+V makes a plant. But, non capital letters do the trick. Funny message, too!

Hmmm...mine is a bit different. Does that mean I'm special? Or is it because I have one of the first 100 copies (#98)?

MikeJ posted Fri, 29 March 2002 at 6:43 PM

Could be. But maybe it's a new bug. ;)

roadtoad posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 8:03 AM

hmm - don't know how y'all are doing it to get the popup window, but first time I hit shift-v I got a 'dry bush' which doesn't appear anywhere in the default plants. Had enough wit to vob it :)

gebe posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 8:29 AM

Try without the shift!!!

gebe posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 8:37 AM

About dry bush. If you have Vue 4 you should see it in the small preview windows where all the other plants are. If you see the other plants, but not the dry bush (and maybe others missing there??), do the following: Close Vue. Go into your Folder...Vue4Plants Delete the file vegetation.prv Then open again Vue, have a look in the plants. Now it should be there. Deleting the vegetation.prv file is without any risk, as Vue will create a new one as soon as you use a plant. Guitta

thanks! did the prv delete and there are like 10 plants that weren't there before :)
