LOL! Nice sharp shot, with very interesting still-life subject matter. I love the bone handle on the knife, I remember when most good quality knives had those handles, now it's all plastic! P.S. why'd you use an umbrella, was it raining? Only Joking!!!...don't throw things at me people...even I know the umbrella's used for bouncing lighting, ummm...isn't it? ;-)>

;) The Knife handle is a hippo tooth. A very old one from what I am told. The guy that lives next door to me makes knives and this was a gift to me from him because I put a portfoilo(sp) together for him. Bonbon, Yeah, I know, sounds kind of funny but I just loved the pewter stones.

Love the strong diagonal lines of the placemat with the arrangement of stones & knife, very sharp shot. The lighting works really well.

Thanks everyone. I need to spend more time in here... One of the cool things about using digital is you can see how it's going to look before the shot. film picks up Reflections very different than digital does.
