For those people who like movement in their Poser, Digit magazine is giving away LifeForms 3.5 on the latest issue ( May 02, #47). The cd also has Powermoves volumes 1 + 2 on it. Thousands of motions, ready to be exported as .bvh files!! This was a very nice surprise. Excellent!

Could you tell me the number of the issue. I'll have to order it from here in the States.

I wonder if it'll be eligible for the upgrade price to the latest version.

Marque posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 3:32 PM

The latest version is 3.9. I am so ticked that they are giving it away, I paid over $400 for that program. I think I will quit buying and just tag the freebies from now on. Marque

Version 4.0 is coming in April.

Thank for the info Raven, the magazine should be out of print tonight ;)) Marque, I must admit that kind of news is quite disapointing. I wouldn't appreciate either. You should ask them a free upgrade to next version. Yarp

Which store has Digit here in the states? Barnes & Noble, Borders?

Marque posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 4:17 PM

I'm supposed to be testing it for them Marque

TygerCub posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 5:37 PM

Wait a minute... you're testing their program and they made you pay for it??? Um... to quote Guy from Galaxy Quest, "That's just not right."

Thanks for the scoop Raven! Great news! Dave :-)

Marque posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 7:18 PM

No, I bought it originally. They just asked me to test the new one because I'm a registered user of 3.5 Marque
