Okay, I have been struggling with this for two full days now and it's really frustrating the heck out of me. I'm this ** close to relegating this model to the great recycling bin in the sky. While in Setup, the joint rotation works as I want it to, with the center of rotation where the "limb" joins its parent. However, when I switch to the Pose view, the center of the joint rotation seems to be centered somewhere in the center of the floor... even though I open the joint parameter palette and the green and red +s are where they should be. So the "limb" goes flying off into the sky. If I switch back to Setup, everything works fine again. Arrrrrrrrgh! Anyone know what's going on? I have the latest SR. Tilandra

Is this P4 or ProPack?

I don't think there is a setup window in p4, only in ProPack. I'm using ProPack, regardless. Tilandra

hmmm.. it sounds like your making sure the joint is in the right place... sometimes when i am making joints if i forget to check where the joint is in the top, side and front views it goes wonky like your describing... the only other thing i can think of is if you have Sherical falloff zones turned off in the joint parameters window..that sometimes did it for me i'm kinda new to this as well.. sorry i can't be more help. hope you figure it all out soon
