Bwahahahahahaa. Like I could match up to any of them. The title is a joke!

Oh, and the eyes' are Daz's, not mine. Mine seem too fake. These look better, but not totally real.

That's good! It is realistic looking. ;=]

If you set the material color to "black" on the hair and make the eyes darker, you might find that it all fits together much better. I like it! I really do!

You know... joke or not, that's pretty nice. I agree with Markdotcom, though: make the hair either dark brown or black and you'd have a complete character!

thanks everyone for the nice comments! HAve you seen what StefyZZ has in her gallery?! It is shocking! Anyway, yeah, I guess I didn't see his hair was half reddish, or whatever, it should've been black, I need to change that. I need to work on his eyes, and make the top seam on his head invisible. I hope to have about 5 different and unique faces textures, 50 poses, a lot of light sets, character faces, all in one package, all under about 10.00 at the market place, sometime in the future. One thing I'm struggling with though is that I don't want to create any body texture maps, just the faces. Thanks again everyone! Ben

Then take the time to create one really good body texture that will match the skin tone of all your faces. When you post your product, state in the ReadMe what you've done and why and no one should complain. It's a great start. I look forward to seeing the final product.

Ditto:TygerCub. You should do at least 1 good body texture, or you won't get much in the way of sales.

First, thanks folks for your comments. I have taken your advice, and am almost finished with a photorealistic body texture! Here is what my product will include: a.) 5 or more different, unique faces of different people, from white, Mexican and black folks. b.) 5 or more shades/tints/hues of one photorealistic body texture, that would correspond to each of the above. c.) At least 50 poses. (I already have 50 plus personally made) d.) Alot of Facial expressions, and some hand poses. e.) Some character faces, which will probably include some really wild ones. You should see what I've done with the Millennium Baby's face. f.) A lot of light sets (I haven't decided on how many) g.) Possibly Some fantasy textures I'll create using the above facial and body textures. f.) A bonus spraybottle poser model. I wish to do some eastern indian folks (as they are underrepresented in the 3D realm, I only know of one, and it's in freestuff - there are only a couple of distinct skin categories - white, black, mexican, asian, native american - Middle eastern folks could easily be represented through the Mexican american facial textures, perhaps with a hint of green for an olive look), but I don't know any (Eastern Indian) folk that would let me do it. Perhaps my doctor would, but hmmm . . . I could perhaps take one of the Mexican-American faces I have, and darken the area around the eyes, and include a morph that mimics their facial structure. I want to include a whole lot of stuff, and sell it for about 10.00. Here's a sample pic (this face texture is the real-life brother of the one above, the skin texture is largely based on my chest and back!) - it is not finished, and obviously does not totally match "Juan" right now, but this will be the base body texture map. Thank you all for your advice and comments. Ben MessianicArt.com

Here's a funky morph/face setting like some I may create in the future that I may include in the package.

TygerCub posted Sun, 31 March 2002 at 9:02 PM

HeHe... and if you put a patch over it, you could title it, "Third Eye Blind"... sorry. couldn't resist.

geep posted Sun, 31 March 2002 at 10:49 PM

That face in #10 (above) is as close to photographic as I have seen in quite some time.

(however, ........... those ears HAVE GOT TO GO! ;=] )

It would be interesting to see another pic rendered using a camera with a different focal length, i.e., 55 mm or greater.
