I LOVE this site and it's beautifully crafted FREE models, but the .DXF's will not import into Poser, and the .OBJ's won't use the textures they provide. Can anyone help me out?

I have used some of them in bryce but the textures dont line up well at all and need a lot of tweaking or starting over ... It is a great site though isnt it? I wish I knew what to tell you I dont normally render much in Poser

You'll have to run the .obj through uvmapper and then use the texture maps provided as best as you can and they do work. Granted it's a lot of work but those props are worth it. I'm in the middle of doing all that now myself.

I know the problem. There is a note on their site saying that only the 3ds MAX files have texture coords. If anyone has MAX, then you can load them in MAX and export them as 3ds files. Then assign the approipate maps to the materials. Perhaps you should email them and ask them to provide textured 3ds files.
