Gee... my computer have been acting up lately; and since I'm with the bestest computer wiz I know when it comes to opearting systems; this hit without warning. My computer started to act up a week ago; and refused to start MS IE; and then it announced that my Outlook Express wasn't a valid 32 bit application. Well, duh! Since I'm a VERY careful person; and I never open any E-mail attachments (even from persons I know); I've not been hit by any viruses; till now. OK; so I've got Poser mania. I've downloaded several things. To be honest; I don'nt remember all the things. BUT I finally decided to engage my virus scanner; and there it was. I've got a Troyan called "Weird". The files that I've uploaded are safe; I think. But I haven't managed to check them yet. In fact; this message is the first thing that I'm doing online since John finally was able to restore my Windows. I'll have to re-install most (if not all) of my software, ICQ was fried (for those of you who have me on your addy list); Poser was fried; and I just tried to start Photoshop... (who announced that it's not a 32 bit application!!) Like I said; I think that all the freebies are safe; but just to be sure; do a virus check.... OK??
