Why me? Why again?? "Order Processing Failure! AVS Failed: avsaddr=, avszip=, please try again." *Plus the data fields returned with this message come up with data different then the address and name I've entered during the purchase, AGAIN. Just like the last two or three time we've had this dance. Three tries and the same thing each try each time.(Last time we did this my credit card co. said it gave something like 5 approvals so I'd guess you've got 3 this time hehehe so I know it's going through.) I've asked for those fields to be cleared and I can see they are still goofed up. I guess they are to be stuck forever like that? I'm certain now that this is what is goofing up all my purchases here and it's not worth going through this again. Every purchase every time. Enoph is enoph already. I'm getting realy PO'd now. Now last time we went through this I had tried 4 or 5 different browsers. This time I've tried yet again with a new E.I. brouser that was not used the last time.(A whole new windows install. AGIAN.) Can I please have this fixed so we don't have to go through this with every purchase? PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. Can I please have my order please? This time I'm trying to complete a purchase for the Sakura Hanami for Millennium Preteen Price: $19.95 By DTHUREGRIF Ok. If I'm not wanted here just tell me. I'll leave. This is beggining to wear on my nerves. :(

Well - Hmm.. The store is working fine. We are serving up lots of orders. The AVS failures mean that the data you are entering isnt matching what your CC company has on file. It has to match 100%. I checked your order history and it hasnt been processed here. Are you on a MAC or PC? Clint

I'm on a PC. Well between this time and last time I think I've entered and re-entered my info every way humanly possible to get the match right. I've checked with my credit card co. and since thier copy of my address and what I've been using is the same I stumped. I've already been through that before. By the way AFTER I'm rejected the fields come up with incorect data that is not the data I'm entering. I've said it before and I'll say it again I sure the system is ignoring the data I'm entering with the purchase and usbmitting the bad/incorect data that seems to be perminently stuck in my profile and only comes up after the submition fails out. :(

What version of IE are you using? Have you tried the latest version of NetScape Communicator? That seems to work best with the store. Let me know. Clint

Last time; Opera5.5, Netscape 4.7, Mozilla(latest build, )KDE brouser, IE5.0, IE5.5, IE5.5(updated). Purchase failed the same way. This time I just went with IE5.5 and no updates.(Seems to work at DAZ so I stuck with it)

neurocyber, I'm working on this to try and resolve for you. I'll post back here in just a few minutes.
JeniferC posted Fri, 05 April 2002 at 10:03 AM
I've fixed your order, so it will be charged to your card properly and the item is ready for you to download. Here's what I think the problem is: When you get an AVS Failed and the street and zip equal nothing, I believe that is when the AVS is not responded or is timing out. SO, anytime you get this please let us know us we can help you. I think the AVS maybe timing out because it gets hung on the address. The default address info is pulled directly from your member info, so to "may" work properly if you do the following. 1) Make sure you have the name on the card (instead of the email address-you go to "My Profile" on the sidebar under Member Options to update any your name or address). 2) Remove the Apt and # from the address. 3) Abbreviate your state with two characters (Ex: Florida = FL) 4) Make sure you use the correct zip code as the one the card company uses. I know some of these fields are filled out correctly, this is just an overview of things to watch out for. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Jenifer Keeling Renderosity Admin

Thanks Jenifer. :) I'm thinking of another purchase real soon. It'll be another chance to try out some of your suggestions and maybe see if there is something I haven't tried.

I am having the same problem. Nothing I do makes it any better. I am on Netscape. My other browser (aol) can't get past the security certificate issue. I am on a Mac that is used by the whole family, but when I log on here it comes up with my name so why doesn't it work?
ClintH posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 10:24 AM
Olga, Are you using the latest version of Netscape communicator on your MAC. That will make all the differance in the world. Clint

no, an earlier one because there are bugs with downloading in some cases with the higher ones. I'll try that though.
Olga posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 11:03 AM
NO, Still not working. I have been trying for days to make this purchase. No problem at Daz.
Kendra posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 12:49 PM
It's giving me problems too.
I'm trying to purchase the beer bottle. I'm using the latest version of IE and all the info I enter is the same as the last time I made a purchase so it's got to be the site. I've never had this problem before.
Didn't want to start a new thread so hopefully my problem will be heard too? :) I need it before tomorrow.

No I'm on a PC and I get the same:
"Order Processing Failure!
AVS Failed: avsaddr=, avszip=, please try again."
I was trying to use my mastercard, if that helps any. I believe I used it last time.

That error is when the AVS system is either not responding or is so slow that our system is timing out waiting on a reply from the AVS server. I'll try to process your order manually and post back here in just a couple of minutes. Jenifer
JeniferC posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 5:35 PM
Okay, I've processed it manually through the card gateway. You're ready to go download it now :) Please let us know if you have anymore problems. Thanks, Jenifer

I had the avs errors too. Is it due to the code question? by the way my cards have 7 numbers. I used the last 3. If I skipped it I was declined. I tried 2 different cards as well.
Kendra posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 10:03 PM
I'm downloading mine now, thanks. Were you able to use the card I tried entering today?

I tried again this morning and again the AVS errors. ON a Mac, using my newly downloaded Netscape 6.2.2. I am begining to believe I am not ment to have the symphony blouse, pants and jacket. By the way, though it says PC only, there isn't anything there that Macconverter can't handle right? No .exe, right? Sure would be funny if I couldn't use it in the end.
ClintH posted Wed, 10 April 2002 at 7:29 AM
Olga - You need to use NetScape Communicator. The current version is 4.79. http://www.netscape.com/download/?cp=myupgrd_my Clint

Yes, Kendra, I used the card that you had entered on 4/9/02. Olga, It's not your browser. One of the cards you are using was declined and the other card company doesn't offer AVS (Address Verification Service) checking -- which our system won't process without AVS verification. I can run it manually if you'd like.

I just had an amusing experience. I've moved, told the bank and everything, so I figure if the store didn't like my old address, perhaps it'll like my new one. Nope! So I try the old (now incorrect) one, "thank you for your purchases!" Go figure! :P later jb
JeniferC posted Fri, 12 April 2002 at 4:08 PM
The bank may have updated your address in their system, but the change may not have been processed in the AVS system yet. Sometimes it can take a while, and sometimes you have to remind them to make the change on the AVS system.
