Did you use a long pant for it? it seems that you must edit the mesh. Seravajan

i use the long pant, but the daz site isn't very clear about the way to transform it into short pant. Laurent

You might try pulling down the materials menu and looking for a setting that says "long pants" or whatever, then turning off any texture to that material and turning the max and min transparencies up to 100%. That's how it works w/ Vicky's DAZ pants, anyway.

nothing like that :( only pant, without texture Laurent

I don't own the mil kids, so I'm obviously the wrong person to try to help--but what all does it say under the materials menu (top right of your screen shot)? What options does it give you?
ablc posted Fri, 05 April 2002 at 7:58 AM
this menu contains: capri, short, pant, band and preview short is the first segment, pants is the last pant segment

Just took a look at your pants figure (finally). Try turning the object color to white.
orphea posted Fri, 05 April 2002 at 8:01 AM
So what you've got now is capri, I guess. If you want shorts, then make the pants and capri segments transparent.

Either make sure the highlight color is set to true black or simply douple click on that portion of the pants and uncheck the visible box in the window that comes up.

You can't? That's odd. I can set the highlight to 0%.
