I came across this today and thought that either some of you may have used it and can tell us about it or you may find it useful in modeling projects. Here's a partial description: PhotoModeler Lite is based on photogrammetry- the science of extracting data from photographs. Photogrammetry is a powerful and flexible tool, though many people are not familiar with its capabilities. PhotoModeler Lite offers a no-cost, no-risk way to evaluate and learn the power of photogrammetry.

I have the LE version of thi and it does what it says it does...it enables you to create 3d objects from pictures...you use lines to trace the object in two veiwports, and then connect corner to corner and poof a 3d object. I have only done the tutorials for it but it seems promising.

When I first read the description, I thought this might give modelers a decent base to at least start their projects...like Duddly's vintage car project.

I suppose that is could do that as well...I am going to try something complex with it I think just to test it so to say :)
