I was thrilled to read that I might be able to use Vicki skins on Stephanie, but I have so far been unable to install the PCF file. I am working on a Mac, and yes, I have read (and followed) the directions several time. Also, I do have the latest (4/11) version of Stephanie. Every time I try to convert the PCF file with Maconverter (again, the latest version) I get an error (#134) halfway through the process. Has anyone else had this problem. Anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. John Doe

Do you have the very latest StephVskin? If you got it when it was first offered, the dates were incompatible for the new Steph. I'm not on Mac, sorry, but I had problems with the first version of both items. No probs with latest versions. I hope it's that simple, because it's a spiffy deal. Emily

Yeah, it's the latest version. I just downloaded it today and it's creation date is 3/24. John Doe P.S. Oops. Of course in my first post I meant that I have the 3/11 version of Stephanie not 4/11. :)

I have a Mac and I was able to decode the PCF file with Macconverter. After applying the Stephanie morphs everything works fine. So it seems to be no Mac problem. Sascha

I've tried to put a couple of Vicki Textures on her and the skin underneath the lower lashes gets messed up real bad. Anybody getting good results on the face with her?

John Doe, I don't know what else to suggest to you since it looks like you've checked everything. I hope maybe you have access to a PC where you can try it then move the decoded obj to your Mac. :/ pizazz did you download the latest stephvskin? i fixed the upper eyelids and lips march 24... but didn't think there was a problem with the under eyes skin besides the normal stretching that the millenium figures seem have... ie don't try drawing patterns on their cheeks... :) Eowyn, that's a lovely character! What morphs and textures did you use there? :) fyi to anyone who's just tuned in, stephvskin is at 3-darena.com freebies now. when i ran out of bandwidth at rosity last month i moved it to 3-darena (and also why it dissapeared from freestuff here...)

The skin texture is the new Carly by Dalinise, hair is by neftis. Character is my own, one of many to come to the MarketPlace soon :)

Hey John Doe, mea culpa. My StephVskin worked fine before I updated it with the latest file of April at 3-darena. Now I receive exactly the same error in Macconverter. The version before that worked fine as I mentioned above (oh, hope I didnt trashed it...) Sascha

ok, i've checked it out and found no problems decoding. of course :( my blStephanie.obj is dated 11-Mar-02 11.23AM my StephVskin.pcf is dated 24-Mar-02 9.37PM and i just downloaded this from 3-darena to do this test. sorry can't help... especially with macs... cos if you were on PC i could send you a uvs to try and decode from that, but unless you have uvmapper pro the free uvmapper for macs will not decode it properly either. i hope you can get a hold of a pc to decode on. goodluck :)
