Can anyone here who might have a winged dragon render a few 2D poses of the dragon without texture and against a contrasting background? What it would be used for is as a base body for a friend of mine to paint on texture, scales, color, etc. Sort of like a sculpture wireframe, but as a textureless 2D image. Poses needed would be flying, curled up sleeping, and any others you might come up with. My friend is looking for a dragon with wings, with a snake-like body. She can erase the legs if need be. If anyone can do this AND it's not violating any copyright, please let me know. You would receive credit on her website for the creation of the base body. Her site is at the link if you want to see what she does.kiru posted Sun, 07 April 2002 at 5:01 PM
possibly, any compensation involved?

No, sorry. No compensation other than the credit for the base and a link to your website/gallery. She does this for a hobby. :)

Those are excellent poses, Schlabber. I'd like to put that dragon on my wishlist. :) I don't want you both to double up, so whatever would be easier for you, it would be much appreciated. The poses are fantastic, but they are too small to work with. 800x800 is the size she starts with. The background should be a contrasting color with no "ground" or shade so she can cut out the figure. She only needs a few simple poses of a winged, two-legged dragon; flying, sleeping, roaring. There is no hurry on this. It's for an exercise challenge. She will credit whoever needs to be credited.

thx ... Sihn well - those are of course only poses ... the preview images where not meant to use as complete and functional images. Well kiru - if you could render those I'ld be very happy ... because all my poses for the new DAZ-CD have to be rendered also ... (well, if you ever rendered approx. 1500 poses then you'll know what mass-rendering really means ... lol)
