How about a video editing/filmmakers forum??
audre posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 6:27 AM
if there is enough interest absolutely! what you need to do is get folks to keep asking for it. get eveyrone you know who is interested in this to post to this thread and really work it! that is how we determine if there is enough interest to warrent a forum.

I'd like to see it... and there is a huuuuuge newsgroup for digital video and editing, so I'm sure I'm not the only R'osity member with an interest. Tilandra

Since I have been using preimere for over a year now I would like to see this as well....I never bothered looking for a news group though...I usually just go to the adobe site when I get stuck.

Vote 1 - New forum for Video.
Slynky posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 4:48 PM
one bad thing would be the inability to upload work to Rosity for commenting. You'd have to pay for your own server and have people download clips from anohter site. Still, it would be cool
Little_Dragon posted Tue, 09 April 2002 at 6:16 PM
You've got my vote.
I want to participate in outraged disagreements over the merits/drawbacks of Video for Windows vs. MPEG vs. Quicktime! And discussions on linear/nonlinear editing tools. And compositing. And codec compression. And FX packages like Impulse's Illusions. And ....
