I read about something very much like this in relation to Juno, a free and paid internet provider. I promptly wiped Juno off my computer and formatted the hard drive as well. I'd thought about reorganizing things anyway. This just gave me an excuse. Just remember, it's not just the "possible pirate" applications that might stick you this way.
