Hey everyone, here's a quick update to The Shahnra Project 2 trailer, it's 7.9 megs, it grows in size as I add more animation clips:-) but have a look if ya have time. Remember this is in rough edit mode, that means just showing some of the clips, it's not the finished trailer etc. http://www.phase2.net/claygraphics/shahnra2trailertest1.html Also you may have to download the Quicktime 5 player to view it CHEERS!!!Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!

You are truly the Bryce Animation Master, dude! It's been a while since I saw something that made me think "How the heck did he do that"? Seriously great work. AgentSmith

Great peice, clay! I only wished it went a little slower, so I could scrutinize all the scenes easier. Thanks for sharing your work! big_hoovie

Cool Clay, however my question is what settings did you use for your compression? Looks like you found a good trade off between quality and file size. Later, Phillip

I used Media Cleaner Pro software to compress the final renderings, with an mpg codec, I always render with no compression at 15 frames a second and as a Quicktime .mov file then use Media Cleaner to compress it once so there is no generation loss in the quality, When I get all the clips edited together for final compression it will be at a higher quality setting so it'll look a lot better than it does right now..

I want to be like Clay! I have to say that you last post inspired me to try an animation, but it is nothing compared to this. Thanks for the inspiration though and a goal to shoot for. We're not worthy!

have to say that I agree with "unclebob", an animation tutorial including tips on file compression from Clay would be quite handy. :)

I must say that my jaw hit the floor when I saw this! I can safely say that this proves Bryce can do Pro quality animation( or rather it can when an inspired artist such as yourself is at the helm!) Brilliant work, and I love the soundtrack as well. Thanks for an eye-opening lesson!
