Go as far as your patience lets you! This looks great! Buttons and a Zipper should be bump/texture maps, IMO.

Lookin good! If your still using truespace to model clothes ,how about a tutorial on the modeling part to go with your clothing tutorial ,I've done a dress but I have wondered how to make something with sleeves or legs.

Anything that makes it more adaptable. The basic look is great, and with texture chages it could represent several garments (leather or cloth jacket, etc). Excellent work.
