Well I posted one about a week ago, but here's a few more. All these picture are at least five years old, some more. I have larger imaegs of all of these, so if you feel like making them just ask for cleaner copies. Oh, and I don't mind them being made for commercial sale - but in that case I'd ask for a copy :) The first one is a somewhat overprepared fantasy/medeival ranger type.

That's very close to Traveler's Swashbuckler's outfit for Victoria. Take a look at it at Daz3d. You may be able to customize it for what you need.

number two And why not? ceremonial armour for a lion (lion based on clipart)

Lyrra posted Sat, 13 April 2002 at 11:52 PM

number three pair of 'rennaisance modern' outfits, colored in photoshop for clarity

Lyrra posted Sat, 13 April 2002 at 11:54 PM

Crescent, I don't want to make the outfits - I'm just tired of the pictures sitting around and nothing being done with them. :) I figured I'd throw them out there, and see if anybody felt like making a couple.

number four 3/4 of a funky layered coat, you get to put the other sleeve on though. Only one more today :)

Lyrra posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 12:11 AM

the fifth and last for today another funky layered coat, this time a back view. Once again you get to add the other sleeve. Hope you all enjoyed this rummage in my closet, and I'll post another batch next week :) that one will have 7 sexy girls outfits, including a kinky bodysuit/robe combo, a unique harem girl, some complicated lingerie and classic star trek-style 'how does that stay on?' dresses Sorry to eat your bandwidth! how bout some b&w's of the color ones like the last image?

Lyrra posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 12:56 AM

I can give you a black and white of the third image - but I'd have to redraw anything else. I only have colored copies.

caleb68 posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 1:21 AM

ah bummer, i'd be easier to work off the b&w's to make them into clothes

Anzan posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 1:37 AM

I REALLY like number 4. Anz

caleb68 posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 1:45 AM

philc has a jypsy set like that... or was it a geni... anyhoots philc has a set that resemble #4

Lyrra posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 2:38 AM

caleb, if you're seriously interested in making them, it's not actually that hard for me to redraw them :) Which ones?

caleb68 posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 3:08 AM

1 and 4, 6 and 7 look like there basically the same style.

ronknights posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 7:33 AM

You can use PhotoShop or another good graphics program to make a B&W image out of a color one. Did you try that?

I like them all but my preferences are the lions armor and the 2 layered coats. I can't model but would love to see someone make them.

I hate to tease you like this :) I can not work on it again until late next week (vacation). Plus I do not know exactly how I will make the droopy arms poseable. Presently it is only a Nurbs model in Rhino. Next week I can try an poserize it. smerc

Ill bet that bodyhandles would be the way to go.

Lyrra posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 1:37 PM

Smerc, Wow! that's cool :) You tease :) I think the lavender shirt hsould lace shut in front, the green yoke should have some big decorative doohickeys as closure, and the belt needs a buckle. Since you worked from a back view, I'm even more impressed. You did an amazing job :) I really hope this can be posered. And yes, those are amazingly impractial sleeves, but wait! I have more impractical outfits! :) RonK, I can indeed make the images greyscale in photoshop, but I end up with big patches of, you guessed it, grey, and not the clean line drawing that Caleb was asking for. And since one coat is mostly black, I'd definately have to redraw it. Things are not always as simple as they appear :) Caleb, I'll agree with you that 1 and 4 are very similar, but they are not much like 6&7. But that's my opinion :) Lyrra

Backview??? No wonder she was a little...uhm...flatchested :) So you are saying I have the skirt on backwards! Well not me, but Vicky. Or is it layered? smerc

Lyrra posted Sun, 14 April 2002 at 10:28 PM

Smerc, I did mention it was a backview :) Its layered - the 'tails' on the back view belong to a lower layer, which should dip down to cover that empty spot in the front there. That oval thingy doesn't exist in front. And the white sleeves are even poofier :) So actually the lavender and purple thingy can be one piece, layered over a thing that has the teal sleeves, those tails and a frontpart like I just described. I think that makes sense - chemise (those white sleeves, probably extending like a long dress underneath) a robe and overrobe, plus mantle/yoke thingy. And probably the skirts can be a bit longer, ankle length? it's a fairly ornate and regal outfit, I don't think they'd be showing much leg :) Lyrra
