Does anyone know where I can find a good cheerleader animation/ motion file? Commercial or freeware ok..but it must be royalty free...Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance,

If you're referring to the dancer-cize like moves reminicent of NFL-type cheerleaders on Monday night football, you there are several suitable files, in particular "ROCKNROLL.BVH" on the Kim Weild correographed motion file collection which has been mentioned here several times. Unfortunately, I do not have a link to this - and the link in the readme file: http://www.smstudios.com/fl does not seem to work. There have been some other aerobic dancing type motion files posted for free at House of Moves and they also of course for sale there.

Oh and BTW, the "Content" CD ROM which comes with POSER4 has a variety of dancing BVH files on it, although I am not sure if any are exactly suitable.

Some of these might help:

(and for those of you who are wondering, yes, they're the same ones from the 30MB Santa Monica .zip)

Here's a link to the Stanford files. It about a 30MB download and there are well over 200 bvh's in it. Close to 300 from what I remember. There is no information in the read-mes about distribution, copyright or anything other than technical notes (which you should read). Or, you could go into the Marketplace here and pay for them.Hiram posted Tue, 16 April 2002 at 10:49 AM
"(and for those of you who are wondering, yes, they're the same ones from the 30MB Santa Monica .zip" Yes, they certainly are. I'd recognize that shoulder spasm anywhere.
