Okay, we all know how bloated Poser can get. And we all know a few tricks to try and fix this. Add this one to the list for those of you who don't know it already.

I have cleaned out most of my character library by renaming the cr2 as a pp2 (you can also make it a pz3 but I got mixed up doing that). I then store these and my prop library elsewhere. Since I am using ProPack I have png so it is easy for me to view the thumbs in Win2k explorer. I also use Yarps p3do explorer.

I only keep the basic figures and props I use in Poser now. Everything else I import using the Poser import Poser Document command on an as needed basis. This has helped me whittle down my bloat by nearly half.

Renaming the file extentions is a snap with the free utility called 1-4a rename.

Now if I could just figure out what to do about all those texture files.
