Thanks Spike. You had a lot to do with getting me interested in Bryce and then Poser and learning the little bit I know. I still can't thank you enough for leading me through the whole deal of the cntrl/click selection in Bryce--LOL--changed totally how I use it. Thanks again. See--I AM getting some better (at least I think so G). Diane B

Diane as always a wonderful picture. I am almost crying with her and imaging the sad news from the letter. I wonder if it is the winter? For I too have been doing some sad pictures when usally, like you, I am pretty cheery and optimistic. Perhaps like mother earth we are just having a little change so we can spring forth with brightness again! Sounds good to me! smiles

Very nice picture picnic .. Doing some sad pics myself but unfortunately I have a reason. Nice work again

Ghost I am sorry you are also in sadness. Please accept what helps me most when I am in a sad place for any reason. gentle hugs, healing love & soft smiles And the knowledge and experience that tries to always remind me that this too shall pass, even though sometimes we dont think it ever will.

LilWolff, you have a good heart. I notice that you always have something nice to say and empathy with whoever seems to need it at the time. I'm glad you're around S Maybe it is the time of year. I have a lot of Welsh in me too, so I guess I'm naturally a bit 'melancholy'. However, I'm not sad about anything and feel so sorry for those who are--Ghost. Spring is coming here in NC and I know I'll be making cheery images then. I still have to do 2, though, soon before Winter is over (fat chance, huh??)--ice skaters and the Japanese one. I gave up on my possibly 'controversial' Millenium one--it really wasn't 'me'-LOL. Diane B

Good work, Diane; I can really appreciate your depiction of the little cat there beside her; they always know when you need some unconditional love. But hey, the leek-eaters got nothing on us Scots when it comes to gloom and melancholy; in fact, the Welsh probably learned about it when the clans came to visit, naked and painted blue and carrying off the women! --Paul (texboy)

Great picture, look like my back deck. We got over 14 in. of snow here in this part of N.C. and so I have had more time at home on my computer. I guess thats the bright side. Sorry for all the sadness, if there is any way to help just let us know. one of your poser friends, skee

Skee--North Carolina?!? I'm in the foothills. This is the snow last week. We were blessedly missed by this--not very far south they were hit very hard as you know. No, Skee--I'm not sad--maybe its like LilWolff says--its the weather making us do sad pics--its been grey and gloomy--but not today. Carolina BLUE skies today LOL. Diane
